Trout

Trout town is situated in the Southwestern segment of the Catskill Mountains in a zone that is honored with rough mountains, unblemished waterways, lakes and lakes. Only west of town, the widely acclaimed Beaverkill River and Willowemoc Creek meet in the incredible Junction Pool, home of the popular Two Headed Trout. Here a parade of amazing pools, for example, Hendrickson's, Cairn's and Wagon Tracks start, all of which have been testing dry fly fishers for a long time.

A short ride west of town, fishers will locate the East Branch, West Branch, and the Main Stem of the Delaware River. These waterways furnish fishermen with world-class trout angling and other differentiated stream angling openings. For the still water fisher, there are numerous repositories, lakes and lakes in the region that are abounding with angle - including the Pepacton and Cannonsville Reservoirs, Big Pond, Little Pond, Lake Waneta, Crystal Lake, Alder Lake and Mongaup Lake to give some examples.
