5. Lohagad Fort
Located at a distance of 11 km from Lonavala, Lohagad Fort an architectural magnificence was built in 1564 as a prison which was later served as a treasury by Shivaji. The hill fort is located at an altitude of 1050 meters which resembles the fangs of a scorpion. Also, an ideal destination for trekking, where the trekkers start from Malavli the base trek, which is around 7 km from Lohagad and takes around 2 hours of time to complete the trek.
