About Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary
Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary is an untamed life shelter in the Murud and Roha talukas of Raigad locale, Maharashtra state, India.1 It was made in 1986 to save a portion of the waterfront forest biological community of the Western Ghats and comprises of 6979 hectares of woodland, meadows and wetlands. The region was once part of the chasing stores of the royal province of Murud-Janjira.The Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary is found about 140 km from Mumbai at 18°20′39″N 73°03′33″ECoordinates: 18°20′39″N 73°03′33″E. There are four fundamental trails through the haven that take in the primary waterholes, Gunyacha Maal, Chikhalgaan and Phansadgaan, that are a portion of the best places to see untamed life. The "Holy Groves" are situated close Supegaon. Pockets of open meadow, called mals, happen all through the haven.
