Pakhal Lake & Wildlife Sanctuary

Phakal Lake one of the most tourists attraction sites in telangana, it is built by Ganapathi Deva in 1213 AD by saddling a little tributary of the Krishna River. This lake is spread over a region of 30 Sq. Kms. This is a perfect end of the week escape around Hyderabad. Nearby the lake, Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary is spread more than 839 sq. kms. The asylum gives a lovely scene a thick and a rich store of creatures. It is for sure an enjoyment for the visitors to see such huge numbers of creatures in the midst of a magnificent background.

One can detect a tiger or a panther or a bear and one can discover a group of deer wandering about unreservedly in nature. The asylum is likewise harboring Marmals like pumas, hyensa, wolf, wild puppies, jackals, sloth bear, nilgal, porcupine, langoor, Reptiles like python, cobra, basic krait, screen reptile and Crocodiles.
