Daria Daulat Bagh

Daria Daulat Bagh actually 'Garden of the Sea of Wealth' is a castle arranged in the city of Srirangapatna, close Mysore in southern India. It is for the most part made out of teakwood. In Srirangapatna is the Dariya Daulat Palace Summer Palace that is set in the midst of excellent greenhouses called Daria Daulat Bagh. Tippu Sultan famously known as the "Tiger of Mysore", constructed this royal residence in 1784 and ruled Mysore from here for a brief timeframe after his dad Hyder Ali wrested control from the Wodeyars amidst the eighteenth century.

The royal residence is worked in the Indo-Sarcenic style in for the most part made of teakwood. The castle has a rectangular arrangement and is based on a raised stage. On the best floor of the Daria Daulat Palace is the Tippu Sultan Museum. It has an accumulation of Tippu memorabilia, European works of art and Persian original copies. The exhibition hall has the popular painting "Raging of Srirangapattanam" an oil painting by Sir Robert Ker Porter made in 1800.

This recorded painting delineates the last fall of Srirangapatana on 4 May 1799. Tippu's men are seen giving firm protection from the British armed force and numerous British officers are obviously noticeable in the composition. In foundation behind the fortification dividers are seen parts of the Palace and the minarets of the mosque.
