Anjaneya Temple

It is built in the Dravidian style of design. Namakkal Anjaneyar temple is situated in Namakkal, a town in Namakkal locale in Tamil Nadu, India and is committed to the Hindu god Hanuman. The Agamam is trailed by "Sri Vaikhanasam". The legend of the temple is related with Narasimha, a symbol of Hindu god Vishnu showing up for Hanuman and Lakshmi. The picture of Anjaneyar is 18 ft 5.5 m tall, making it one of the tallest pictures of Hanuman in India.

The temple is kept up and controlled by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Four day by day ceremonies and numerous yearly celebrations are held at the temple, of which fifteen-day Panguni Uthiram celebration celebrated amid the Tamil month of Panguni March - April when the picture of directing gods are taken around the roads of the sanctuary, being the most noticeable.The temple has a pillared lobby prompting the sanctum.
